By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

01Information we collect

Account data

Email address, display name, password hash (or OAuth identifier).
Billing data — handled by Stripe; we never store full card numbers.

Content you provide

YouTube URLs and transcripts you submit for processing.
Generated ebooks, covers, chapter images, and related metadata.

Technical data

IP address, browser and device info, log timestamps.
Usage events (generations started, credits consumed, errors).

02How we use information

To operate the Service: process generations, deliver exports, track credit balance.
To bill subscriptions and credit packs via Stripe.
To send transactional emails (account, billing, security).
To debug, secure the platform, and improve quality.

03AI processing & sub-processors

To generate ebooks, content you submit (YouTube URL or transcript) is sent to AI model providers such as Google (Gemini) through our AI gateway. These providers process the content solely to return generated results and do not use it to train their models under our enterprise terms.

Supabase / Lovable Cloud — database, authentication, storage.
Stripe — payments and subscription management.
Cloudflare — hosting, edge runtime, DDoS protection.

04Data retention

Generated ebooks are retained for 30 days, then archived/deleted. Download anything you want to keep.
Account and billing records are retained while your account is active and as required by law (typically up to 7 years for invoices).
You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Section 7).

05Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and minimal analytics cookies to understand product usage. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

06Security

We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest, scoped database access (row-level security), and least-privilege server credentials. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@tubebook.org.

07Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Email support@tubebook.org to exercise any of these rights. We respond within 30 days.

08International transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

09Children

TubeBook is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware of such data, we will delete the associated account promptly.

10Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
