01Service

TubeBook is an online tool that converts public YouTube videos into ebooks (PDF, DOCX, EPUB, PPTX) using automated AI processing. The service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

02Account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
One person, one account. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

03Plans and billing

Free: limited generations, with a "TubeBook" watermark on outputs.
Starter / Pro: monthly subscriptions billed by Stripe. No watermark, higher quotas, HD cover download.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Prices are shown in USD. Local taxes (VAT/GST) may apply.

04Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund on your first paid subscription if you have generated fewer than 3 paid ebooks. Beyond that, monthly fees are non-refundable. Contact support@tubebook.org.

05Intellectual property

Your content: you retain full ownership of the ebooks generated from videos you have the right to use. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to convert and distribute the source video's content.
Free plan: ebooks include a TubeBook watermark and are intended for personal evaluation only. Commercial use of free-plan outputs is not permitted.
Paid plans: you may use generated ebooks commercially (sell, distribute, give as lead magnets) provided the source content rights allow it.
TubeBook IP: the platform, branding, code, prompts and templates remain our property.

06Fidelity modes & copyright

TubeBook lets you pick how closely the generated ebook follows the source video. Each mode carries different intellectual-property risk, and that risk is yours to manage.

6.1 — High Fidelity (close adaptation)

Produces a derivative work that closely tracks the source. You must own the video, have an explicit license from the rights holder, or be confident the source is in the public domain.

6.2 — Smart Adapt (default)

Rewrites and restructures the source into new long-form text. The output is generally safer for original publication but is still derived from the source idea; you remain responsible for verifying it does not reproduce protected expression.

6.3 — Low Fidelity (inspired)

Uses the video only as a thematic seed and produces substantially original content. Recommended for KDP, lead magnets, and commercial distribution where you do not own the source.

6.4 — Limited AI copyright

In many jurisdictions (including the US), purely AI-generated text is not copyrightable. Your editorial choices, custom instructions, and post-generation edits are what create human authorship. We make no warranty that any specific output is registrable or enforceable as your copyrighted work.

07Scope, styles & refunds

7.1 Writing styles and custom instructions: style presets and your custom instructions are creative inputs to a probabilistic model. We do not guarantee an exact tone, structure, length, or stylistic match.
7.2 Subjective dissatisfaction: dissatisfaction with style, tone, voice, or fidelity match is not a refundable defect. You can regenerate within your plan quota.
7.3 Refund eligibility: refunds remain governed by Section 4 and apply to clear technical failures — not to creative judgment calls about the output.

08Acceptable use

You agree not to use TubeBook to:

Process content you do not have the right to use (copyright infringement).
Generate hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise illegal content.
Resell raw API access or attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the service.
Bypass quotas, watermarks or billing.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

09AI-generated content

TubeBook uses third-party AI models. Generated text may contain inaccuracies, hallucinations or biased phrasings. You are responsible for reviewing the output before publishing or distributing it.

10Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Generation times are indicative and may vary based on video length and provider load.

11Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TubeBook's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts that breach these Terms. Upon termination, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

13Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise.

14Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
