01The Service
TubeBook transforms YouTube videos and transcripts into ebooks using AI. Features, pricing, and credit costs may evolve over time.
02Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to create an account.
- You are responsible for your credentials and all activity under your account.
- One person or legal entity per account. No account sharing across teams without a plan that expressly allows it.
03Subscriptions, credits & billing
- The Service operates on a credit system. Each generation deducts credits per the cost shown before you confirm.
- Free plan: 50 credits, granted once at account creation — no renewal. Sufficient for one lead magnet ebook.
- Starter ($9/mo): 500 credits per billing cycle — approximately 10 lead magnets or 4 commercial ebooks.
- Pro ($29/mo): 2,000 credits per billing cycle — approximately 40 lead magnets, 15 commercial ebooks, or any combination.
- Subscription credits refresh at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.
- One-time credit top-up packs do not expire while your account remains active.
- All fees are billed via Stripe in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated.
- You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; existing billing periods are not affected.
04Content & ownership
Your input
You retain all rights to the YouTube URLs and transcripts you submit. You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit and generate derivative works from that content.
Generated output
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, you own the ebooks and assets generated through the Service and may use them commercially. Free-plan exports include a TubeBook watermark; Starter and Pro plans export without watermark.
Fidelity modes and copyright responsibility
- High Fidelity — creates a derivative work closely tracking the source. You must own the video, hold an explicit licence from the rights holder, or be confident the source is in the public domain.
- Smart Adapt — rewrites and restructures the source. Generally safer for original publication, but you remain responsible for verifying the output does not reproduce protected expression.
- Low Fidelity — uses the video as a thematic seed only and produces substantially original content. Recommended for commercial publishing where you do not own the source. To maximise copyright protection, add your own editorial contributions before publishing.
⚠ In many jurisdictions, purely AI-generated text has limited copyright protection. Your editorial choices, custom instructions, and post-generation edits are what create human authorship. TubeBook makes no warranty that any specific output is registrable as your copyrighted work.
Our IP
The Service, including software, prompts, design, and branding, is owned by TubeBook and its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.
05Acceptable use
You must not:
- Submit content you do not have rights to use, or that infringes any third party's rights.
- Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, sexual content involving minors, or that violates AI provider policies.
- Attempt to bypass credit limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or probe for vulnerabilities without written permission.
- Resell raw API access to the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
06Third-party services
TubeBook relies on third-party AI providers, payment processors, and infrastructure. Their availability and policies may impact the Service. We are not liable for outages or limitations imposed by those providers.
07Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated output may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing it before publishing or distributing.
08Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TubeBook's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
09Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, abuse, or non-payment. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability, dispute resolution) will continue to apply.
10Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the entity operating TubeBook, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer law provides otherwise.
